Course Description
The eighth grade American Citizenship class provides students with a thorough
understanding of our nation's system of government. Research regarding contemporary issues facing our nation and its
government are incorporated throughout the year. Emphasis is placed on knowledge of social responsibility, social awareness,and
social rights and duties, which are all qualities of a good citizen.
